From Global News.
Canada’s National Revenue Minister François-Philippe Champagne, said on Monday that the country’s federal "operating budget will be balanced by 2028-29."
Champagne also announced that the Liberal government will present the budget with both operating and capital figures separately.
He said it’s a way of presenting it "to provide greater clarity." Champagne added that both the U.K. and Singapore "have done something similar."
Asked if the budget could exceed $100B, he stated, “You’ll have to wait until Nov. 4," to get an update on the forecast.
