Ticketmaster is pre-emptively restricting the sales of two American League Division series games at Yankee Stadium to just four states, should New York beat the Boston Red Sox and advance to play against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Ticketmaster says the restriction to credit hard holders residing in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania is to fight ticket scalping.
