Prime Minister Mark Carney is sitting down with his cabinet to chart out the government’s fall plan as he prepares to face off against Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre for the first time in the House of Commons. Speaking to reporters on his way into a cabinet meeting in the Greater Toronto Area, Carney also revealed he spoke to U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday.
