The Supreme Court of Canada says it could be months before there’s a ruling on the fate of the flock at the Universal Ostrich Farm in Edgewood, B.C.
 
Until then, the birds will be in the care of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) – a state of affairs that was reinforced Monday, when the farm’s owners tried to send in their veterinarian.
