Postmodernism has become a sort of bogeyman for right-wing activists and politicians, for whom the concept signifies the death of truth and attacks on everything from religion to traditional gender identity. But if we look at what’s going on in American politics right now, it seems that the right (and president Trump in particular) are taking advantage of postmodernism to re-shape the nation’s political culture. This video explains how with reference to philosopher Fredric Jameson.
