From Global News.
Indonesian police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters near two universities in the city of Bandung, student groups and authorities said Tuesday, amid growing concerns about unrest that continues to spread across the country.
At least 10 people have been killed during nationwide protests since last week.
The anti-government spending demonstrations began in the capital of Jakarta and escalated after a police vehicle hit and killed a motorcycle driver, turning into into riots and looting.
The situation in Bandung is the first incident of police firing at demonstrators on or near university campuses during the current protests, with previous clashes taking place near government buildings and officials’ residences.
