From DW News.
The US defense secretary says Tuesday’s missile strike on a Venezuelan vessel said to be carrying illegal narcotics won’t be the last. Pete Hegseth told Fox News "We’ve got assets in the air, assets in the water, assets on ships, because this is a deadly serious mission for us, and it won’t stop with just this strike. US President Donald Trump says 11 people were killed in the attack. He said the US military had identified the crew as members of Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, which the United States designated a terrorist group in February. Venezuela’s leader Nicolas Maduro has accused Washington of trying to force ‘regime change.’ We got some analysis from Mike LaSusa, deputy director of content at the non-profit think tank InSight Crime.
