Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. testified before the Senate Finance Committee about the administration’s healthcare agenda on Thursday, where he was accused of elevating vaccine skeptics and endangering children.

One senator called him out for not knowing how many Americans died from COVID-19 during the pandemic.

"You were sitting as Secretary of Health and Human Services. How can you be that ignorant?" Senator Warner asked.

Both Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Bernie Sanders probed the reason behind the firing of CDC head Susan Monarez, to which RFK Jr. said it was because she told him she was untrustworthy.
