LIVE: Jeffrey Epstein victims speak out at Capitol press conference

From MSNBC.

Watch live coverage as some of the victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein speak at a press conference at the Capitol. The bipartisan event is organized by Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) on their push to have Congress vote on the release of files related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The press event will feature ten women, some of whom have never spoken publicly before, Khanna told NBC’s Meet the Press. Massie filed a discharge petition for the Epstein Files Transparency Act on Sept. 2, which would force floor action on the bill if 218 representatives signed on. Khanna confirmed that all 212 Democrats will sign the petition, and Massie had garnered the support of 12 Republicans.
