New Brunswick seafood company hit with $1M fine, temporary foreign worker ban

A New Brunswick seafood processing company has been barred from employing temporary foreign workers for a decade and fined the maximum penalty possible for violating rules of the program.

As Suzanne Lapointe reports, Bolero Shellfish Processing Inc. plans to challenge the penalties in court, even as migrant action groups urge the federal government to compensate workers with the fines collected.
