Unaccompanied migrant children are facing bigger barriers for reunification with potential sponsors because of new Trump Administration policies. But the ACLU’s Lee Gelernt believes the White House is circumventing a court ruling which stopped the first Trump Administration’s family separation policy. The “Trump administration is looking for new ways to separate children; they are trying to get around the settlement by doing a variety of other things that we think do violate the law.”
