US Secretary of State Marco Rubio unveils nearly $20 million in new security aid for Ecuador and brands two of the country’s gangs as terrorist organizations, part of what he called President Donald Trump’s unprecedented crackdown on violent crime. "We’ve designated them as foreign terrorist organizations, and that brings with it all sorts of options for the United States to work in conjunction with the government of Ecuador in the future to stamp these groups out," says Rubio during a press conference in Quito.
