The Indian consulate in B.C. was under a symbolic "siege" on Thursday as Pro-Khalistan activists protested Canada’s policies on the Indian government. They claim members of the Sikh community are still facing deadly threats, demanding the prime minister do something, saying Mark Carney is more concerned about inking trade deals than public safety.

As Rumina Daya reports, it comes two years to the day after former prime minister Justin Trudeau made the shocking announcement that Indian agents were behind the murder of a Sikh activist.
