Mason 67 began as a lighthearted stereotype of suburban Gen Alpha boys, kids with fluffy “ice cream hair,” Baseball Lifestyle shorts, and Pit Vipers who couldn’t stop saying “six seven,” a reference to Skrilla’s viral rap song Doot Doot.

The stereotype was cemented in March 2025, when TikTokers linked the haircut, the baseball gear, and the name Mason through viral slideshows and memes. But the joke evolved into something darker. By mid-August, the 67 Kid… the blonde boy who shouted “six seven” in a Cam Wilder video… was edited into analog horror and creepypasta-style clips, reimagined as SCP-067 with glowing eyes and a monstrous gaping mouth. What started as a roast of baseball kids became a full-blown internet cryptid.
