Tropical Storm Imelda is expected to reach hurricane-strength after blowing through the Bahamas as coastal communities from Florida to the Carolinas prepare for the worst. Thanks to Hurricane Humberto’s pull, Imelda is not expected to make landfall in the United States but it could still bring flooding downpour and rip currents to the East Coast.
