From AFP News Agency.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer takes to the stage at his party’s annual conference, telling the room "Britain stands at a fork in the road – we can choose decency or we can choose division". Starmer has only been in power for 14 months after a landslide election win, but his party is struggling to fight off soaring support for the hard-right party Reform UK. The Labour Party leader adds that "at the end of this hard road, there will be a new country, a fairer country, a land of dignity and respect."
