From Global News.
Several of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims – including some who had never spoken publicly before – took part in a press conference Wednesday at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., pushing for a total release of the Epstein files.
This came after the U.S. House Oversight Committee publicly posted files Tuesday that it received from the Justice Department on sex trafficking investigations into the late convicted sex offender Epstein and his former girlfriend and associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Lisa Phillips, who said she was taken to Epstein’s island while on a photoshoot at a nearby island, announced that the survivors have discussed "creating our own list.”
“We are tired of looking at the news and seeing Jeffrey Epstein’s name and saying that this is a hoax,” said Marina Lacerda, who spoke publicly for the first time Wednesday.
Trump has dismissed the renewed calls for the full release of the files and referred to it as a “Democrat hoax.”
