A vigil was held for the victims in the Nashville, Tennessee, school shooting. Josselin Corea Escalante, 16, died in the shooting along with the shooter, 17-year-old Solomon Henderson who turned the gun on himself. Another classmate was injured by a bullet graze. The district has a student population that’s 35 percent Hispanic according to a 2020 school report.
