What a laugh, says Tim. He is wearing his Red Nose Day nose (a UK charity fundraising event).

A purple ball that has two metal contacts. If you slightly wet your fingers and then touch the two contacts to complete the circuit, it laughs in a maniacal fashion. Every party needs one. Or maybe two!

The Giggle Ball is a mechanical device. Shake it vigorously and it giggles. Of course it does.

A small yellow ball that acts as a miniature maracas.

Blaster Balls have percussion caps embedded in them. Bang them together and if you hit them on a sweet spot, the percussion cap will go bang. Over time of course, it does wear out as the caps get used up. Tim recalls the smell of cordite, which you got from the cap guns that he remembers from his childhood.

Healthy Balls are silver in colour, and they chime nicely when they come into contact. The idea is to hold two, three or even four in one hand, and make them rotate, first in one direction and then the other. Supposed to improve your health apparently.

A golf ball that screams when you hit it… A ball that burps…

Finally, an all electronic ball that makes noises and flashes lights. What fun Tim!
