How to Make Vegetable Lo Mein!! Homemade Lo Mein Recipe

From Crouton Crackerjacks.

Learn how to make Chinese restaurant style lo mein right at home! This requires only a few ingredients and you can customize it using whatever veggies you wish. And you don’t need to limit it to just veggies, you can add whatever meat you want as well (using beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, etc).

What you’ll need:
8 oz. (1/2 pound) pasta or lo mein noodles
cabbage, celery, carrot, onion, ginger and/or vegetables of your choice (snow peas, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, broccoli, green onion/scallion, napa cabbage, bok choy, etc)
about 1/4 cup vegetable oil, divided
1 recipe of sauce

For the sauce:
4 tsp lite (reduced sodium) soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp white wine (or rice wine or cooking wine)
1/2 tsp mushroom flavored dark soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
