Can Trump do a deal with Putin on Ukraine? | BBC Ukrainecast

From BBC News.

The US president-elect has previously promised he will negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.

Now, Donald Trump has said that a meeting is being arranged between himself and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The US president-elect gave no timeline for when the meeting might take place.

The Kremlin said in response that it was open to the talks, but that no details had been confirmed yet.

Ukraine’s former foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba discusses whether his country’s fate might have been different if Donald Trump was US president in 2022.

Kuleba also shares his thoughts on whether Ukraine’s age for military mobilisation could be lowered, telling Victoria Derbyshire why his 18-year-old son is keen to join the war effort.
