Hitman in killing of Air India bombing suspect sentenced, family wants answers

From Global News.

One of the two men who pleaded guilty in the killing of a former suspect in the 1985 Air India bombing has been sentenced.

Tanner Fox was sentenced to life in prison with no parole eligibility for 20 years.

Fox and Jose Lopez pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last October in the shooting death of Ripudaman Singh Malik.

Prosecutors said the two men were hired and paid to kill Malik but they have not revealed who they believe hired them. Outside court on Tuesday, Malik’s family said they pleaded with Fox through victim impact statements to reveal who hired him.

Rumina Daya reports.
