The U.S. is Canada’s biggest trading partner, but President Donald Trump’s tariff threat has Canada looking at how to rely less on its closest neighbour.
One way is boosting interprovincial trade, but there are plenty of obstacles in the way. Lifting Canada’s long list of interprovincial trade barriers could add roughly $200 billion to the country’s economy, according to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
David Akin reports on how Canada’s first ministers are figuring out how to remove the barriers.
