From Global News.

U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba at the White House on Friday and said the two countries are headed towards "reciprocal tariffs."

The two leaders also announced that Japan would be investing in U.S. steel.

Trump said the two discussed a potential LNG project in Alaska that could provide oil and gas to Japan as it "seemed of great interest to them."

The U.S. has "potentially more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia, just in Alaska," Trump claimed.
