California Rep. Lateefah Simon will deliver the progressive response to President Donald Trump’s address to Congress.
Simon’s response will follow Trump’s March 4 primetime address, which begins at 9 p.m. EST.

Simon, who will speak on behalf of the Working Families Party, is a newly-elected member of the House. Her district surrounds Oakland, California. She is vice chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
