Weathering Constantine’s Lighter With a Rock Tumbler!

From Adam Savage’s Tested.

One of Adam’s favorite prop replicas is this lighter from the 2005 comic book adaptation of Constantine. Not only is it a beautifully made prop, but it’s the kind of object that visually wears over time with handling and use. To acclerate its natural wear, Adam tries aging it in a rock tumbler filled with a drawer full of old keys–the idea of making it look like it’s been living in someone’s pocket for years.
