American authorities say there is now a person of interest in the search for missing U.S. college student Sudiksha Konanki. The Sheriff’s office in Loudon County, Virginia, where Konanki is from, says it is a 22 year old who appears to be the last person seen with her before she vanished. They note this is not a criminal matter and still considered a missing person’s case. NBC News’ Jesse Kirsch reports from the Dominican Republic.
