Houthis claim attack on US aircraft carrier in Red Sea, US says it “missed by over 100 miles”

From Global News.

The Trump administration expanded the biggest U.S. military operation in the Middle East since Trump returned to the White House, launching a new wave of airstrikes on Yemen, in response to the Houthi movement’s threats to international shipping.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea claimed on Tuesday the group had launched a third attack against the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea, which led to its "retreat".

However, the Pentagon scoffed at the claim, saying their attempt to attack the aircraft carrier "missed by over a 100 miles".
