There has been a surge of vandalism against Tesla cars and dealerships in Canada and the U.S., with some people increasingly angry over the actions of the new U.S. administration.

Dozens of vehicles were damaged in Hamilton, Ont., earlier this week, police say. It appears to be one of the largest acts of vandalism against Tesla in Canada so far.

There have been numerous incidents on both sides of the border targeting the EV maker.

But as Canadians and some Americans steer clear of Elon Musk’s company, experts question how big of an impact it will have.
