Hudson’s Bay is moving forward with plans to begin liquidating nearly all of its department stores across the country.

An Ontario court has given the retailer permission to start selling off its inventory. Six locations in Ontario and Quebec will remain open, for now – including the flagship location in downtown Toronto.

It’s a small ray of hope for Canada’s oldest store. Seán O’Shea has more on the court decision.
