New and used car prices are set to rise because of U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs.

Experts say prices are already going up on some used cars as sellers anticipate buyers looking for a better deal compared to a new vehicle.

This week, Trump enacted 25 per cent duties on imported vehicles, with a reprieve for some parts compliant with the Canada-U.S.-Mexico free trade agreement.
