Karen Read arrived at court Tuesday for her second murder trial. She’s accused of running over her Boston police officer boyfriend with her car and leaving him to die. The first trial ended in a hung jury. Read’s lawyers claim she was set up. During the first trial, there was a stunning show of support for Read. On Tuesday, Read’s supporters are being kept around a block and a half from the courthouse. Read’s defense team now included a juror from the first trial who happens to be a lawyer.
