The body of Pope Francis arrives in St Peter’s Square, the Vatican, and is carried into the basilica where the pontiff will lie in state before his funeral this weekend. The pontiff’s coffin was transported from the Santa Marta residence, where he lived, accompanied by a procession of cardinals ans Swiss Guards.
