Backed by Jeff Bezos, Slate Auto has unveiled an American-made electric truck starting at $25K, or potentially under $20K if federal incentives apply.

With rear-wheel drive, no touchscreen, and manual windows, the base model keeps it simple. Buyers can upgrade to SUV form, add seating, and customize everything from wheels to decals.
