Polling stations open in Poland for a tight presidential election runoff that will have major implications for the country’s role in Europe, as well as for abortion and LGBTQ rights. Opinion polls have predicted an extremely close race, with nationalist historian Karol Nawrocki and pro-EU Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski running neck and neck ahead of the vote.
