According to three U.S. officials, the United States provided support to the Israeli military, shooting down some of the missiles launched by Iran in retaliation for Israel’s unprecedented attack Friday morning that targeted Iran’s nuclear program and killed top military leaders and prominent scientists. President Donald Trump says he does not what the U.S. dragged into another war, but in an interview with NBC News he said that Israel used American equipment during its initial strike against Iran.
