A manhunt in underway in Minnesota after a series of deadly shootings that targeted two state lawmakers. The police identified 57-year-old Vance Boelter as the suspect in the killings of one former House Speaker alongside her husband in their home and critically injuring another state senator. Investigators say Boelter posed as a police officer during attacks and believe the shootings were politically motivated. The incident unfolded as nationwide protests seeped across the U.S.
Across the U.S., thousands joined “No Kings” demonstrations aimed at denouncing Trump’s policies, particularly his recent crackdown on immigration. The organizers are calling the president’s actions authoritarian. Candice Cole has more on the movement.
