Multi colour marshmallows – pop them in a container that allows you to pump some of the air out. What happens? The marshmallows expand. When you release the pressure, they shrink back again!

A novelty wrist band. Don’t think it will get you into the music festival though, Tim!

Twizzle is a very old toy, but Tim only got this very recently, so it is new for him! I did a search online for this toy, but didn’t see this anywhere. I am not sure how old it is. It was made by a very well known UK toy company called Chad Valley, sadly no longer in existence although the brand name survives. Tim remembers them well from his childhood. Wind it up and set it going. The fish turns as it unwinds, and the two little beads suspended on threads make for a chaotic motion. A lovely toy.
