Quebec City street musicians are now being forced to perform in French only at certain spots around the city.
The city says the pilot project is meant to promote the city’s status as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
“It’s quite frustrating. We paid for our permits to perform in the city,” street musician Bosko Baker said.
Baker says it’s just the latest in a set of regulations deterring musicians from playing.
Global’s Franca Mignacca reports.
