Texas floods death toll surpasses 100 as calls for accountability grow

At least 104 people are dead after catastrophic flooding ravaged central Texas on July 4. A century-old Christian camp for girls, Camp Mystic, confirmed 27 of its campers and counselors are among the dead and missing.

As the urgent search continues, questions and calls for accountability are growing as to how many of these communities were caught by surprise. Many are also questioning why neighborhoods and camps along the Guadalupe River were not told to evacuate earlier.
