Raccoon-troversy in Toronto over rotting raccoon’s remains in backyard

From Global News.

Residents of a Toronto neighbourhood are expressing growing concern over a dead raccoon that has been left decomposing on a shed in a family’s backyard for several days.

The carcass has caused a foul smell and attracted flies, making the outdoor space unusable, especially for a nearby family with a young child.

Despite multiple attempts to contact the property owner for resolution and calls to city and animal services, no action has been taken due to the carcass being on private property.

Sean O’Shea reports.
