The four men arrested last week in relation to an alleged anti-government plot to forcibly take possession of land in the Quebec City region appeared by video conference in a Quebec courtroom seeking bail.

One of the men will be released on bail in the coming days after complying with a lengthy list of conditions including wearing a GPS tracking bracelet.

As for the other three, who faced terrorism-related charges, the judge ordered a bail hearing to be held later this month.

Meanwhile, we are learning more about the sophisticated military-grade weapons and equipment some of the men are accused of possessing.
