Canada’s federal Conservatives are renewing accusations that Prime Minister Mark Carney isn’t doing enough to ensure he doesn’t improperly benefit from financial assets he acquired after his extensive career in the private sector.

Carney’s assets are currently in a blind trust, as required by law for any federal public office holder to avoid a potential conflict of interest.
