Former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison is set to appear before a judge to be sentenced for violating Breonna Taylor’s rights during the raid in which she was shot and killed. This comes as President Donald Trump’s Justice Department asked a federal judge to sentence Hankison to serve one day in prison, despite the fact the conviction carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
