From Global News.
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the U.S. consulate in Edinburgh on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump’s visit to Scotland.
Protesters listened to speeches and held signs and placards criticizing Trump. The demonstration took place on the same day as Trump played golf on his Turnberry course on the western coast of Scotland.
The U.S. President arrived in Glasgow on Friday , with hundreds of people on hand to watch the landing of Air Force One, the presidential aircraft.
Trump will travel in the coming days to his property near Aberdeen, where he will open a second course named after his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, who was born and raised on a Scottish island before emigrating to the United States.
