U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday he cut ties with Jeffrey Epstein after the convicted sex offender attempted to poach staff who worked for Trump. The pair socialized in the 1990s and early 2000s but Trump says despite his numerous trips on Epstein’s plane, he "never had the privilege" of visiting Epstein’s private island, saying he turned down an invitation in one of his "very good moments."
