U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and U.S. ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee travelled to Gaza on Friday to inspect the U.S. and Israel-backed aid distribution system, as starvation worsens across the enclave.

France, Jordan, Spain, the UAE and Egypt are also air-dropping humanitarian aid to Gaza, urging Israel to allow full access to the area.

Palestinians walking to and from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid point, some carrying bags containing food said, "We saw death in our eyes today just to provide a kilogram of flour for our children."

"We don’t want aid here—we come and get humiliated and shot at, we are humiliated just for a loaf of bread," said Mohammad Diab, a Palestinian aid seeker.
