Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc told reporters, ‘we can give ourselves a lot more than any foreign country can take away,’ when asked about his message to Canadians who are worried about their jobs and rising costs following increased tariffs.

On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on increasing tariffs from 25 per cent to 35 per cent on Canadian goods that don’t comply with the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement.
