Pro-Bolsonaro supporters crowd Rio’s Copacabana Beach to back the far-right former president, who is accused of plotting a coup to overthrow Brazil’s current president Lula. The Brazilian judge presiding over Bolsonaro coup trial, Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, was sanctioned by the US for what President Donald Trump called a "witch hunt" against a far-right ally. Trump also signed an executive order slapping 50 percent tariffs on Brazilian imports, citing Bolsonaro’s "politically motivated persecution."
