A man said he was just having some nighttime fun, but cops in Florida say he was actually committing a felony. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says its aviation unit was conducting a security check in a residential area when the crew noticed a green laser beam striking their aircraft. The suspect, unaware that cops were zeroing in on him, seemed to just stare up at the aircraft while shining his laser pointer right at it, according to cops.
